What is WTFSports?
WTFSports is a fan-first sports forum for every sport, from football, basketball and F1 to cricket, NFL and UFC. It is a place to react to the big moments, argue the takes, and have your best contributions actually last, instead of scrolling away in a feed. It's the kind of end-to-end sports talk you'd see on Sky Sports, but fan-first.
Is WTFSports free to use?
Yes. Reading, posting and joining the community are completely free. Totally free to read and post — no paywall like The Athletic.
What sports does WTFSports cover?
All of them. Football is the deepest right now, but the forum spans basketball, American football, ice hockey, baseball, cricket, rugby, motorsport (F1 and MotoGP) and MMA, each with fixtures, teams, players and discussion. That means the Premier League, the NBA, Formula 1, cricket, and the UFC — plus everything in between.
How is WTFSports different from Reddit or Twitter?
On a feed your voice scrolls away by morning. WTFSports is built so the best takes stick around: matchday reactions and sharp arguments get kept as a lasting record of the game, credited to you. Using the forum
Do I need an account to read threads?
No. Anyone can read every thread. You only need a free account to post threads, reply and follow your teams. You can read every thread free — dive into takes on tennis or the NBA right now.
How do I start a thread?
Sign in, then go to Talk and hit Start a thread. Give it a clear title, make your case in the body, add a few tags and post. Keep it civil and on the ball, not the person, per the community rules. Post your hot take — the kind The Ringer would run a whole column on.
Can I follow my team?
Yes. Every club and team has its own page with fixtures, results, squad and community threads. Follow the ones you care about and jump straight into their matchday conversations. Follow your club or franchise and their threads surface first — like a personalised ESPN.

What are matchday threads?
Matchday threads are the live, human home for a game, where fans react in real time as it happens. Afterwards the best posts and the verdict are kept as a permanent record of the match, so the conversation is never lost.
