Multi-club ownership is quietly hollowing out football's competitive integrity
One company now owns stakes in a dozen clubs across as many leagues, and everyone treats it as a clever business model rather than the slow corrosion of the thing that makes football work. The whole premise of the sport is that every club is a rival trying to beat every other club. Multi-club groups quietly break that. Players get parked at a sister club to develop or to skirt squad rules. Data and scouting flow one way.
